About
The growing sustainability debate in society has not changed the various forms of pollution, biodiversity loss and extreme climatic phenomena escalation. It is evident that the future of the relations between society and the environment requires urgent structural changes. Universities have the potential and responsibility to lead significant transformations. Our aim at the Urban Ecology Laboratory is to explore these themes through studies and projects related to the urban realm positively associated with the dynamics of ecosystems, integrating different disciplines and knowledge areas. Through collaborations with various laboratories from different areas, the Urban Ecology Laboratory explores the regeneration of urban ecosystems through creative transdisciplinary proposals.
